Just wanted to tell you how good I feel about myself and this program. I had a pair of jeans that I bought in May of 2003.
I picked up a pair of 14p jeans, not stretch jeans by mistake and decided not to return them as I had hopes of getting into
them. Never did. This week I thought I might just try them again and I can!!!!!!!!!! They are very comfortable as well.
So I went and bought 2 more pairs. I also like Alfred Dunner stretch jeans and I am now in a size 10p!!!!!!!!!
I can't remember when I wore a size 10, my dress pants are now down to 14p from a tight 16p.
When I put the jeans on I was amazed!!!!!!!! And proud!!!!!! I was busting at the seams but not because my pants
were to tight. I am so glad my doctor told me about this program. I still feel bad because I am not journaling
to Jodi and I know that is why I didn't lose as much this last time as I wasn't being as careful.
When I get back from TN and PA I "Must" get back to it.

Pounds Later and just a little more to go! Not hungry, not miserable
and very confident.
I
walked into Dr. XX's office eleven months ago, 50 years old and
extremely overweight. I saw the flyer regarding the program and
figured that it was just another diet program. Boy was I wrong.
I gave Counselor XX every excuse in the world - I couldn't live
without pizza or cake in my life, I traveled frequently and didn't
want to have to diet when away, I'm not a big drinker, but when
out to dinner, I enjoy a glass of wine and ordering dessert. Counselor
XX had an answer for every one of my BUT'S!!! And eleven months
later, I am proud to say that I have lost 78 lbs., am wearing
a size clothing that I haven't worn since 9th grade, and feel
better about myself than I EVER remember feeling. Does the Program
work - Yes. Am I going to be able to keep the weight off - YES,
and that is the most important part. Over the past 43 years of
being heavy, I have tried every diet program there is - this is
the first time in all those years that I know I will get to my
goal and I am very confident that with all the tips and guidance
I've gotten, I will be able to maintain it. 78 Pounds in eleven
months, and I've never felt deprived. I've eaten cake, pizza,
and had my wine and desserts when I've been out. I will admit
that they are not the daily or weekly splurges they used to be
- but I plan and prepare for my treats, look forward to them and
really enjoy them when I have them - but as soon as they are consumed,
I'm right back on the program. This past Spring I went on a 8
day vacation to FL and came back to a long weekend away for my
birthday. Did I diet during those two weeks, NO - and I was very
worried when it was ending that I may not be able to get back
on track - BUT I DID IT!!!!!! My friends have all told me that
it's very plain that my thinking process on food has changed.
Three or four times a week I will see friends or family that I
haven't seen in a couple of months and they walk right by me without
recognizing me. I have to chuckle every time it happens - in fact
I am constantly walking around with a big smile on my face - NOT
BAD FOR SOMEONE WHO ELEVEN MONTHS AGO WAS PROBABLY THE MOST NEGATIVE
PROSPECTIVE CLIENT COUNSELOR XX EVER SPOKE TO!!!!! Thank you
Counselor XX, Thank you Weight Loss By Design, and Thank you Elaine
in Dr. XX's office. Without all of your support, I wouldn't be
the happy person I am today.

A
New Me for the New Year!
I am so excited
by the results I have achieved with Weight Loss by Design. In
four months I have lost 53.5 pounds and over 15 inches.
I feel healthier and more energetic than I ever remember. I’ve
got my self-confidence back and I enjoy being social again.
It has been
so gratifying to have family, close friends and even acquaintances
notice my results. I went from a size 14 pants to a size 6. Now
I will even wear jeans with my shirt tucked in and a belt! I can’t
wait for summer – sundresses and bikinis!
Before WLBD
I had tried almost every diet available. WLBD is the first program
that has helped me change my life and my eating habits for good.
I am confident that I will be able to maintain my goal weight
because of all of the valuable tips, tools and guidance I have
received through my counselor and the program. I believe the key
to my success has been the education of what, when, why and how
to eat.
I’ve
never felt deprived on the WLBD program. I have been able to eat
out at restaurants; enjoy desserts and have a few drinks with
friends. The program has taught me to plan for “splurges”
or rewards and more importantly what to do if I go overboard.
Exercise has
become part of my daily routine. In fact, I actually look forward
to it! It is a great stress reliever. The counselors were right
– you can always make time for exercise – for yourself.
Not having enough time is just an excuse.
Thanks to
WLBD, my counselor and my doctor’s office staff, I’m
a new person! The support has been overwhelming. It’s been
a great experience and I look forward to a lifetime of success
in maintaining my new weight! WLBD is the answer!

I went to
Dr. XX's for a visit today and good news...I lost 12 lbs. In the
first month!! I am ecstatic. All the hard work really has paid
off, and I am delighted with the results. I just wanted to share

struggled with an eating disorder since the age of Eleven, I would
never believed that I could eat like a "normal" person
to become healthy and fit. Thanks to Weight Loss By Design, my life
has literally been turned around.
Four years ago, I was put on medication where
weight gain was inevitable. Forty-five pounds in less than Four
months to be exact. Thinking that it was temporary until I went
off the medication; nothing could have been further from the truth.
Again, I was back to my old bad habits of trying to lose the weight
but to no avail. It took me Four months to lose just one pound
and I was killing myself just to accomplish that.
After numerous doctors telling me that there was
"absolutely" nothing wrong with me, I found Dr. Fox
and she explained that my metabolism was "shot" due
to starvation of myself most of my life and that there was hope

Through
the WLBD program and staff, Dr. Fox and her staff, I am here Five
months later and 52 lb. lighter! More importantly, healthier and

What a wonderful
program this has been for me! I have lost a total of 52 pounds
as a result of exercise, portion control, and education. I value
the counseling support. Cindy helped me understand the importance
of eating the right foods balanced with exercise results in weight
loss and feeling better about myself. After being in the program
18 months, I was able to make right choices in food, yet still
indulge from time to time, and assist my family in having a healthier
life style.

Forty
and Foxy!

As I neared
my 50th B-Day I knew I had to do something about my weight, which
was beginning to affect my health. Now six months later I am 43lbs.
lighter and much healthier. My blood pressure has dropped tremendously
and I can now stop taking my Lipitor for my high cholesterol.
In the past I have tried numerous diets and lost weight but I
never was able to get my cholesterol levels down. On this program
I have learned the proper foods to eat which enabled me to reach
my main goal no more Lipitor and looking and feeling GREAT!!!!!
I went from a size 14 pants to a size 6. Last week at work we
were able to wear jeans for donations to American Breast Cancer
Foundation, and at last I was proud to put on my size six jeans
and wear a tucked in blouse with a belt, people at work are actually
calling me skinny. I LOVE IT!!!!! With my weekly conference calls
to my counselor I have received support and valuable information
which will help me to live a healthy lifestyle. I have changed
my whole body appearance with contineous exercise and couching
from my counselor. I must confess that turning 50 and going through
menopause I was dreading getting older, but thanks to the team
at Weight Loss By Design, getting older is better. I feel better
and have more energy than I have in a long time. Thank You counselors,
and Weight Loss By Design.

dress last night to a high school musical that I haven't been
able to fit into in a really long time! I was thrilled!

TO
WEIGHT LOSS BY DESIGN,
Just wanted to tell you folks that I went shopping the other day
and had a funny moment. I USED to wear size l-XL, (depending on
the clothes and makers). I was at the store and tried on a summer
jacket size M. It was TOO BIG!!! So I tried on the SMALL. It was
JUST RIGHT. But the larger was on sale for 75% off. Now, do I
buy the one that fits or go for the one on sale? NEITHER! I figured
it was a sign, wait and buy something that fits and is on sale.
Before
I lost weight, I would by jeans in sizes 16-20. Today I went and
purchased 2 pairs of jeans size.....8. Hurray for me.
People at
work notice the weight I have lost. Even the security guards that
I don't normally see that often have made great comments. I have
even been offered to get kidnapped and taken away to a tropical
beach!
But the thing
that I find most interesting, there are some people that did not
speak to me when I was heavy, BUT NOW, they want to be my friends.
I told them that I am still the same person they didn't talk to,
just skinnier. I don't have time for them. If you didn't like
me a few months ago, why do you want to be my friend now? Some
people are just idiots I guess.
But I am enjoying
the new me. I normally wear sweatpants and T-shirts to work in.
But sometimes now I wear my jeans. My husband asks "Why are
you wearing your jeans to work?" My reply..BECAUSE I CAN.
That's
all for now. Hopefully I will knock off these last 10 pounds and
send my AFTER photo.

was in this AM. 34# lost in her first 2 months! Mentioned to her
that when
she gets to <240 ( 16 to go) we may have to decrease her diabetic
meds again

I
received my meds last Monday. Sorry we couldn't connect. I got
stuck on a business
call. I lost 5 lbs. last month, but 11 lbs of fat. I don't know
how that works, but it's ok with me.

been six weeks and because of Dr. XX and your diet program I have
never felt
better and not too mention I lost 24lbs. so far. I look at life

it has been so long since we last talked. I hope you remembered
that I went
to my sister's wedding in California and then on to Hawaii. I
hope to stay in
better contact from now on. With my little one it sure is hard
for me to even
pick up the phone. Hope you understand. I did go and see Dr. XX
at my 6th
week appointment. I was very pleased to find out that I lost 19lbs.
Very wonderful
feeling. I weighed myself when I got back from Hawaii, and I was
so
excited to find out that I lost another 3 pounds. Not too bad
for watching what
I ate but enjoying all the fine foods Hawaii had to offer. The
most amazing
accomplishment to me is that I feel great and my husband thinks
I'm more
beautiful then ever. My self esteem is very noticeable and my
attitude towards
life is great again. One more thing. I went from a size 18 to
almost a very
comfortable 12. I want to thank you and your company for showing
me the
light. I now know that with exercise and watching what I eat I
can enjoy life.

I
wanted to tell you my story from yesterday. I went to Dr. XX after
being on the
diet for one month. I lost 18 lbs., 12% body fat! I was very pleased
and so
was the doctor. I can't tell you what a great feeling it gives
me to start that way. It shows me this will work and that I couldn't
have done it without the constant support and positive attitudes
of everyone involved. I feel so special! Thanks for all of "your"
help. The suggestions and comments that I get from you help me
feel that everyone else sometimes can feel as I do...up, down,
happy, sad. Thanks again!

as I took them.

I went to see Dr XX ,I am at 135 (20lbs less) and I lost about
7%body fat since
I am out of the pills ,except for the appetite suppressants, I
will continue on the program for maintenance and additional weight
loss of 12 lbs. I will see Dr XX on the 23rd of March and hopefully
he'll have the info for me to sign up again for the 3 -6 month
program which I hope will include having contact with you via
email and or phone system again. I feel that I have changed my
eating habits along with exercise as a 4-5 times a week necessity
to maintain optimum health. it is a life process. I'll write soon.

Without
some sort of appetite suppressant I do have a good appetite at
supper time
and could easily fill my plate with more good things to eat. Glad

the "alternative" suppressant. Starting out in months
4 to 6; Be advised that
in three previous weight loss programs over the years since I
ceased being
an
active athlete I plateaued and remained at 226 pounds and then
slowly gained
it back adding even more weight. I am confident that this will
not be the
case with this program. Dr. XX feels the same.

saw SC today. She's 186 LBS. She's so happy, and I'm so proud
of her. I am
now emphasizing the importance of exercising. Since I'm a certified
fitness
trainer, I took her to the gym and designed a personalized program
for her.
She's doing well, and her husband is helping her. She's
happy, and I am too. I think you should contact her and congratulate
her.

I
have to tell you though amidst all of the garbage my life has
been through in the
last 3 weeks my initial instinct would have been to EAT - EAT
-EAT!!! I have
managed to stay on the diet, easily, and loose another 4 pounds
(according
to my scales at home). PMS struck during this 3 week period as
well
and my cravings for chocolate before were beyond my control. This
last time
I had NO problems avoiding the chocolate and sweets. In fact I
never even
thought about it - I'm not sure if it is just a mind set or
eating properly has help curb some of my bad habits. I am not
depriving myself
of anything, if I have mexican food one day I don't eat the simple
carbs for
the next 2. My 3 year old wanted to go to Dairy Queen - we went
and I passed.
I drank my water instead and it was okay. Thanks

I
got the fat test...oh my gosh...I was sickened...40%!!! I showed
them my paper
from when I had the test done in college 8 years ago. I was 6.4%
body fat!
Unbelievable! Good news...I got weighed and since my very first
weigh in
at the beginning of January, I have lost 15 lbs! 10 of those pounds
has been since
Jan. 31. I am happy with that. I walked again tonight, but I did
speed up a
little tiny bit. I was on the high from finding out that I lost
some weigt. Take care!

Hello,
I just wanted to check in with you. I wanted to let you now that
my birthday
was last Friday. All in all I did pretty well. I wanted to eat
a small piece
of birthday cake on Sunday with my family so I prepared for it
just like we
talked about. I didn't eat carbs for two days before and just
to make sure it's
okay, I am not going to eat any today, ( just in case you were
wondering, it was worth it!!). I'm doing great, I've already lost
5 pounds and I feel so good after I work out everyday. My company
has a Gymthat you can go to with a treadmill and bicycles and
steppers and a weight machine, so I go and make sure I burn calories
everyday before I go home. Thanks for you support Cindy.

Have
a great day! I can feel a waist forming!!! I am serious! I didn't
have to lay on the bed to zip up my jeans...and they were fresh
out of the dryer! Wow!

I haven't been keeping up daily with you. All is going great.
I feel the pounds
falling off and the exercise keeps me going. I had a youth group
all-night
event and haven't slept for 2 days, so I'm pretty exhausted. Other
than that,
I feel good. My clothes are feeling much more comfortable and
I didn't
have to jump out of the window to get into my pants! Yeah!

Cindy,
Doing pretty good with hungry spells. I have my spoonful (yes,
you were
right, I have cut out the bread!) of peanut butter before I jog.
Then I
eat breakfast, cottage cheese and fruit usually, about an hour
afterwards. Then
lunch about noon. I haven't been hungry, unless I forget the time
and go
way past noon for lunch. I am doing really well with balancing
my menu. I
did put together a one page document to keep in front of me, kind
of an "At
A Glance". I have attached it to this email. Would you please
look at it
and see if I left anything out or if anything needs to be changed?
My
clothes - - well, did I tell you I over shopped this spring on
work clothes.
I was working in Springfield Missouri and found an outlet mall
in Branson
I just couldn't resist. Those clothes no longer fit! They are
too big.
I will miss my $300 Liz Claiborne tawny colored silk and linen
suit I got
for $80, but not enough to want to keep it! I can aways take my
work clothes
to a consignment shop. Then I get to shop for new clothes. Yea!!
I
have been working from home the past several months, so I have
been able to
get away with wearing whatever I want. My summer clothes though
are getting
too big. I will make them last through the summer though, most
of the
shorts have elastic waists, so it's no a problem. However, the
large t-shirts
I wear are becoming dresses. A couple of them are longer than
myhorts!
My exercise clothes don't fit anymore either, had to buy new sports
bras,
and now they are getting too big. But I am not complaining!!!!
